How does Plant Miner get rewards?

Unlike other miners in the Energy Generation Category, Plant Miner's rewards are not directly calculated from the energy it generates. Instead, the rewards a Plant Miner gets are proportional to the rewards the Remote Miners (fed by this Plant Miner) get. The reward pool for Plant Miner is separate from the other miners'.

The reward a Plant Miner earns in a reward period is:

Where,

$Reward_{plant}$ is the reward a Plant Miner will receive in a reward period (an epoch, approximately 60 minutes).

$RB_{plant}$ is the factor to boost the reward weight for this miner. Reward boost factor is determined by the Data Collection Methods.

$RP_{plant}$ is the reward proportion factor. So far, $RP_{plant}$ = 50%.

$\sum_{}Reward_{remote}$ is the total rewards the Remote Miners (fed by this Plant Miner) earn in this reward period. Note that it's possible that the capacity of the Plant Miner is not fully utilized to feed Remote Miners.

For example, let's assume 80% capacity of a 10kW Plant Miner feeds 80 Remote Miners each 0.1kW and the 80 Remote Miners earns 12 AKRE in a specific reward period. If the Data Collection Method is Smart Meter, the Plant Miner will earn 1.1 * 50% * 12 AKRE = 6.6 AKRE in this reward period.
