Arkreen Smart Battery Guide
Note: Smart Battery is in trial stage.
How to Participate?
To get started, you will need to purchase the smart battery hardware. Once you have it, connect the smart battery to your home Wi-Fi network and use it to charge and discharge everyday as usually. By doing this, you will become a Battery Miner owner and earn rewards.
You can purchase smart battery in Arkreen Shop:
https://console.arkreen.com/#/shop?type=smart-battery
Who will be rewarded?
In the first stage, users who keep their smart batteries online and report the charge and discharge energy data to Arkreen every day will be rewarded.
How long is the trial stage?
The first trial stage will last for one year. The exact rules are subjected to change during trial.
How are Rewards Distributed?
Reward Pool
Arkreen sets up a reward plan for battery miners every UTC day, which is valid from the first second to the last second of that UTC day.
The calculation method for the amount of $AKRE in the reward plan is as follows:
- Count the number of battery miners that have been onboarded by the time the reward plan starts.
If the number of battery miners is 5 or fewer, use the actual number.
If the number exceeds 5, fix the count at 5.
This number is defined as the Reward Plan Amplification Factor.
- Calculate the size of the reward plan:
- Reward Plan Size = Reward Plan Amplification Factor × 92,593 $AKRE
The $AKRE rewards from the reward plan are distributed on the second day after the next reward plan is established.
All Battery Miners that are not expired and have joined the Arkreen network before the end of the daily reward plan's validity period are eligible to participate in the reward distribution.
Therefore, Battery Miners that join after the first second of reward plan’s validity period will not affect the size of that day’s reward plan, but will be eligible for that day's reward distribution.
Reward Allocate
Arkreen smart batteries have 3 reward activities: Baseline, Charge and Discharge. Of the total rewards in reward pool, 20% is allocated to the Baseline reward activity, 40% is allocated to Charge reward activity, and the remaining 40% is allocated to the Discharge reward activity.
Baseline Reward
The baseline reward is evenly distributed to the smart batteries that report charge or discharge energy data normally whatever how much energy is involved. For example, in a given day, the baseline reward equals to 92593 $AKRE. if there are 5 smart batteries in the network but only 1 reports energy usage data correctly, that single battery will earn 18518.6*5 = 92593 $AKRE for that day. Otherwise, if all smart batteries report correctly, each smart battery will earn 18518.6 AKRE for that day.
Charge Reward
The charge reward is evenly distributed to the smart batteries that report non-zero charge energy data normally. For example, in a given day, the charge reward equals to 185186 $AKRE. if there are 5 smart batteries in the network but only 1 reports non-zero charge energy data correctly, that single battery will earn 37037.2*5 = 185186 $AKRE for that day. Otherwise, if all smart batteries report correctly, each smart battery will earn 37037.2 $AKRE for that day.
If a Battery Miner should report charge energy being zero in some day, it would not be eligible to join charge reward distribution.
Discharge Reward
The discharge reward is evenly distributed to the smart batteries that report non-zero discharge energy data normally. For example, in a given day, the discharge reward equals to 185186 $AKRE. if there are 5 smart batteries in the network but only 1 reports non-zero discharge energy data correctly, that single battery will earn 37037.2*5 = 185186 $AKRE for that day. Otherwise, if all smart batteries report correctly, each smart battery will earn 37037.2 $AKRE for that day.
If a Battery Miner should report discharge energy data being zero in some day, it would not be eligible to join discharge reward distribution.
Checking Your smart battery Status and Rewards
To check the status of your smart battery and view your rewards, please visit the Arkreen Smart Battery Console: Arkreen Console. The console has 3 tabs:
- Dashboard: Provides an overview of your Battery Miners and rewards.
- Withdraw: Allows you to withdraw your rewards to an on-chain wallet and view your withdrawal history.
- Ranking: Displays the daily reward activity rankings of all smart battery owners on the network.
Note: For users who have no Battery Miner, only Ranking tab is displayed.
The following sections provide detailed descriptions of each tab.
